Would a presidential run be in Gretchen Whitmer’s near future? Two recent profiles released in the Atlantic and Vanity Fair seem to think so.
Gov. Whitmer, who won her reelection bid against challenger Tudor Dixon last fall, insists she has no plans to run for president.
Currently, incumbent President Biden is one of the only Democrats to announce their candidacy for the 2024 presidential race. Biden appointed Whitmer as co-chair for his reelection campaign.
