Insomnia Cookies opens first Detroit location near Wayne State University
Late night cookies, ice cream and other baked goods will finally be made available in Detroit when Insomnia Cookies opens its first location in the city this week.
The popular dessert franchise that has brick-and-mortar stores near many college campuses will open its Wayne State University location this Tuesday, July 12. Officially referred to as the Detroit Wayne State location on their website, Insomnia Cookies is located at 5171 Anthony Wayne Drive. Delivery options are also available.
Insomnia Cookies is open during the following hours:
Sunday Noon – 1 a.m.
Monday 11 a.m. – 1 a.m.
Tuesday 11 a.m. – 1 a.m.
Wednesday 11 a.m. – 1 a.m.
Thursday 11 a.m. – 3 a.m.
Friday 11 a.m. – 3 a.m.
Saturday Noon – 3 a.m.
Insomnia Cookies was founded in 2003 inside a dorm room at the University of Pennsylvania. They opened their first physical location in 2006 and have expanded to over 200 stores in the U.S. Detroit marks the eighth Insomnia Cookies location in Michigan.
