Congressman Sandy Levin Rallies Against Ballot Info Restrictions

Dozens of state officials, including Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel, gathered in Roseville to object the law.

Officials from across the state gathered in Roseville yesterday to protest a law that prohibits public agencies from distributing ballot information within two months of an election. The rally against the measure brought dozens of mayors, library directors, and school superintendents together to express their opposition to the new law. Congressman Sandy Levin helped organize the event. He spoke with WDET’s Eli Newman.
