Michigan 2024 Voter Guide: 9th Congressional District

Learn about the candidates running for Michigan’s 9th Congressional District in 2024.

The general election is on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.

GOP Congresswoman Lisa McClain is seeking a third term against Democrat Clint St. Mosley in Michigan’s conservative 9th District. Third-party candidates Kevin Vayko (Libertarian Party) and Jim Walkowicz (Working Class Party) will also face McClain, who won the district by roughly 30 percentage points in 2022.

The 9th Congressional District includes Michigan’s Thumb and portions of northern metro Detroit, including Clarkston and Oxford.
