As we close in on the last few days of WDET’s 2024 Fall Fundraiser, our music hosts are kicking out some spectacular incentives for music lovers to support their favorite public radio station.

Listeners who make a gift of any amount during In The Groove with Ryan Patrick Hooper from 12-4 p.m. this Thursday and Friday will automatically be entered into a drawing for 10 golden tickets to any shows of your choosing at the Magic Stick or Majestic Theatre in Detroit — even if they’re sold out.

Gifts made during Ann Delisi’s Essential Music from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday or 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday; Rob Reinhart’s Essential Music from 2-4 p.m. Saturday; or during Modern Music with Jon Moshier from 4-6 p.m. Saturday will also be entered into the golden ticket drawing.

Additionally, gifts made during The New Music Show with Shigeto from 8-10 p.m. Saturday could win two tickets to TOKiMONSTA’s Eternal Reverie Tour at the Magic Stick on Oct. 26; as well as a Movement merch pack including a t-shirt, hat and sweatshirt.

Stick around and make a donation during Alternate Take with Liz Warner from 10 p.m.-midnight Saturday and you could win a $200 gift certificate to Barda, plus two tickets to Mau P’s sold out show at the Russell Industrial Center on Nov. 11, featuring special guest Kevin Saunderson. The lucky winner will also take home the Movement merch pack.

Of course, as Detroit’s No. 1 source for news, music and conversation, we have some incentives to encourage news junkies to support WDET as well.

Anyone who makes a donation during Morning Edition from 5-9 a.m. Friday or All Things Considered from 4-6 p.m. Friday could win a subscription to the New York Times and Washington Post for an entire year.

Tune in to WDET FM 101.9 for more incentives being offered during WDET’s 2024 Fall Fundraiser — including a grand prize trip for two to Morocco valued at more than $13,000!
