101.9 WDET and NPR are looking for unsigned musical artists in Detroit to enter the 2024 Tiny Desk Contest.
Are you in a local band hoping for your big break? This could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Previous Tiny Desk Contest winners have gone on to perform at Coachella, win Grammy awards and more!
This year’s Tiny Desk Contest winner will perform their own Tiny Desk concert at NPR in Washington, D.C., be featured on NPR’s All Things Considered, headline this year’s Tiny Desk Contest on the Road Tour and get paired with a mentor in the music industry.
Enter the 2024 Tiny Desk Contest in just three steps:
- Record a video of yourself performing an original song at a desk (any desk)
- Upload the video to YouTube
- Follow the submission instructions at tinydeskcontest.npr.org by Feb. 21, 2024 before midnight
