1964 Dodge Custom 880

The raffle is now closed. A winner will be announced shortly.

Thanks to WDET’s car donation program, you have a chance to win a rare 1964 Dodge Custom 880, originally bought by the Dodge family.

The vehicle was donated by Mary Wilson, the widow of former Buffalo Bills owner and Detroit businessman Ralph C. Wilson, who gave her the Custom 880 in 1994 as a gift.

Listen: Mary Wilson speaks about the history of ‘Horace,’ the Dodge Custom 880 donated to WDET

The origin of this particular vehicle can be traced back to Horace Dodge Jr. purchasing it as a holiday gift for his mother Anna Thompson, but died in 1963 before he could give it to her. The car was one of the first two vehicles to come off the line for this model.

Car detailing YouTuber AMMO NYC found out about this classic Dodge vehicle and wanted to restore and preserve some of the original elements of the car. Check out his amazing video below.

Each raffle ticket costs $101.90 and you’re allowed to buy more than one. The drawing will be held on September 24, 2023. Click here for complete contest rules.
