With films like “Roma” winning the hearts of critics and fans alike, Mexican cinema is becoming a global favorite.

Here in Detroit, the folks at Cinema Lamont have brought the best in contemporary Mexican film to the city for the last three years.

Starting this week until the end of October, Cine Mexico Now will screen eight films that you won’t be able to see anywhere else in the region.
