AG Dana Nessel On Why Enbridge Line 5 Should Be Shut Down
Host Stephen Henderson speaks with AG Nessel about Line 5 and banning relationships between clergy and parishioners.
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has been busy lately, from efforts to institute a ban on sexual relationships between clergy and parishioners to working on stopping energy providers from raising their rates, to her ongoing quest to shut down Line 5.
She joins Stephen Henderson for the first of what will be regular monthly check-ins on Detroit Today. The two dig into some of the aforementioned issues and discuss some other things that she’s working on.
The Enbridge Line 5 Pipeline was commissioned in 1953, making it 66 years old. Listen to the full conversation to hear why Nessel believes its continued operation could result in catastrophe.
