The two leaders of the state House had a big week at the 2019 Mackinac Policy Conference.

WDET’s Jake Neher got a chance to sit down and talk with both of them fresh off their victory lap on the porch of the Grand Hotel. That’s where Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed their auto insurance deal into law.

State House Speaker Lee Chatfield (R-Levering) and state House Democratic Leader Christine Greig (D-Farmington Hills) discuss that historic new law, the budget, education, abortion and other issues.
