Detroit Public TV Debuts ‘Great Lakes Now’ Monthly Show Tuesday

Great Lakes Now explores the world’s largest system of freshwater and the environmental, economic, and political issues that impact the lakes.

Detroit Public TV debuts a new monthly show on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The magazine-style program includes feature reports and interviews highlighting issues of the Great Lakes.

Great Lakes Now “will look at the world’s largest system of freshwater, with in-depth coverage of the environmental, economic and political issues that impact the lakes and the people who use, cherish and protect them.”

Stephen Henderson speaks with two members of the Great Lakes Now team on Detroit Today — host Ward Detwiler and program director Sandra Svoboda.
