It has been quite a week for local, state, and national politics.

Tuesday’s election brings major changes to government in Michigan, in states across the country, and in Congress

Soon after the election, U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions was forced out of his job, sparking conversation and speculation about what might happen next in terms of the special counsel’s investigation into the Trump administration and the future of the Department of Justice.

And — as if that wasn’t enough — President Trump held a combative press conference that escalated his war on the American press.

The press conference was soon followed by the White House’s decision to revoke press credentials for CNN’s Jim Acosta. The administration’s attempt to explain away their decision to revoke Acosta’s credentials included the sharing of doctored footage of Acosta.

To help break down all of this week’s political news, WDIV’s Devin Scillian joins Detroit Today with Stephen Henderson.
