The Southern Poverty Law Center’s Teaching Tolerance project develops resources for teachers and others who work with children to discuss diversity, tolerance and social justice.

When the #METOO Movement began to make headlines last year, Teaching Tolerance developed materials to encourage and support classroom discussions around sexual assault.

Monita Bell is the senior editor for the project. She says children are never too young for discussions about consent.
