The Detroit Regional Chamber’s annual Mackinac Policy Conference on Mackinac Island is wrapping up. It’s been a week of big discussions about big issues facing Metro Detroit and the state of Michigan.

For a recap of the conference, as well as the issues and personalities surrounding it, Detroit Today producer Laura Weber Davis speaks with John Truscott and Kelly Rossman, principals of the Truscott Rossman political PR firm.

They talk about possible candidates for governor in 2018, the era of term limits for Michigan lawmakers, a proposal to make Michigan’s Legislature part-time, and building relationships across political lines.
