Lt. Gov. Brian Calley On Push for Part-Time Legislature, Possible Run for Governor

Calley announced this week he’ll lead an effort to make Michigan’s Legislature part-time.

The first big news of this year’s Mackinac Policy Conference comes by way of Lt. Gov. Brian Calley.

The Republican announced on Tuesday from Mackinac Island that he’ll lead a ballot campaign to make Michigan’s Legislature part-time.

His name is also one we often hear as a potential Republican candidate for governor in 2018.
