Freezing temperatures are coming to Metro Detroit this week with wind chills below zero.

High temperatures will hit the low teens by Thursday.

Meteorologist Dave Kook says nights will be extremely cold.

“Low temperatures will be in the single digits Tuesday night and Wednesday night, and we’ll likely seem some negative low temperatures Thursday night,” Kook says.

Kook says wind chills will drop below zero Wednesday and Thursday.

He advises residents to limit their time outdoors and keep all skin covered when they travel.
