Michigan Certifies Presidential Election Results But Recount Possible
Mich. certifies Trump beat Clinton by about 11,000 votes. Green Party’s Stein wants recount to ensure integrity of vote.

Officials in Michigan have certified the results of the presidential election.
But the state is also gearing up for a possible recount.
The Michigan Board of Canvassers officially certified that Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by about 11,000 votes out of more than 4 1/2 million that were cast.
But that certification may not be the last word.
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein’s campaign filed for a recount in Wisconsin late last week and says it is joining groups of voters in requesting a recount in Pennsylvania.
That’s after some experts cautioned that electronic voting in those states and in Michigan could have been manipulated.
The deadline for filing for a recount in Michigan is Wednesday.
If that happens The Trump campaign will have seven days to file an objection to the recount.
