The house band of the “Greatest Masquerade on Earth” is releasing an album with a legend of the post-punk scene . Detroit’s Theatre Bizarre Orchestra and David J., a founding member of the bands Bauhaus and Love and Rockets, collaborated on a new vinyl release called Carpe Noctem. The group performs as M.C. Nightshade and The Theatre Bizarre Orchestra at Third Man Records in Detroit on Thursday, October 13, and the next two Fridays at the Theatre Bizarre Gala. David J. will also be at Found Sound in Ferndale on Monday, October 17 to sign copies of his new memoir, “Who Killed Mr. Moonlight? Bauhaus, Black Magick, and Benediction.”
