Arkells Strip Down at Third Man Records
The Canadian outfit Arkells swing across the border for an intimate set at Third Man Records in Detroit’s Cass Corridor
Morning Report, the highly-anticipated fourth studio album from Canadian outfit Arkells, is a fresh release from Last Gang Records. Following a string of festival performances this summer including Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, the new tunes the gold-selling band teased on stages across the continent this year are now officially available to ears everywhere.. The record showcases the intuitive interaction between frontman Max Kerman and Mike DeAngelis‘ intertwining guitars, Nick Dika’s urgent basslines, Anthony Carone‘s dulcet keys, and Tim Oxford‘s lockstep drumming.
Last week, the band released their latest single“Drake’s Dad” taking the internet by storm with coverage in Pitchfork to Billboard to The FADER.
Tonight (8-10-16) they play a stripped-down set at Third Man Records in Detroit.
