Now in its third year, the electronic music festival Charivari Detroit has expanded its footprint on Belle Isle, continuing to exalt techno, house and other forms of the genre while celebrating icons and rising stars from Detroit ‘s diverse electronic music scene over the course of three, thumping days.

When festival co-founder Todd Johnson spoke with WDET’s Travis Wright, he said the dream was always to produce this festival on the island. He said now they can expand programming, such as offering an eclectic soundtrack to morning yoga sessions.
