Iconic Detroit brewery may be gone, but it’s pilsner is coming back
It’s been 30 years since the last bottles of Strohs beer were bottled in Detroit. But Strohs parent company, Pabst Brewing, is bringing the storied brand and its pilsner recipe back to Detroit. As of August 22nd the locally brewed beer will be available. WDET’s Amy Miller spoke with Pabst Brewing Detroit Brand Manager Eric Phillips.
