Heat Means Early Release for DPSCD Summer Students
Classes will be dismissed early Tuesday and Wednesday
The Detroit Public Schools Community District says it will close several schools by 11 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday because of extreme heat and humidity, except for those having field trips. The district’s Office of School Nutrition will distribute water in classrooms and allow students to take water as they leave for the day. The list of schools includes:
