On this Sunday’s (May 15), Progressive Underground, we discuss the life and legacy of DJ/tastemaker and Charivari Detroit founder STEVE DUNBAR as an all-star collective of DJ’s, producers and tastemakers will visit the WDET studios or call-in to the phone lines to discuss Dunbar’s impact on the music community.  Music will be featured from house music’s golden age in addition to a special mix (by Dunbar) being played at the end of the show.

We also have ticket giveaways for upcoming concerts by THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE and ROBERT GLASPER.  We explore the outer reaches of electronica by way of techno, deep house, future soul, nu-jazz, b-sides and rare grooves.  It all goes down this Sunday, 8-11 pm EST on 101.9 WDET and wdet.org.
