Donald Trump is Gaining Momentum, Whether Republicans Like it Or Not

With questionable endorsements and tweets, Trump’s campaign is drawing scrutiny while he wins at the polls.

With his win in last Tuesday’s Nevada Republican Caucus and Friday’s endorsement from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Donald Trump continues to gain momentum in his bid for the presidency.  But Trump is also facing increased scrutiny – not releasing his tax returns, picking up endorsement from Ku Klux Klansmen, and re-tweeting a quote from Mussolini. Will any of the remaining presidential candidates on the Republican side, Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Marco Rubio, Gov. John Kasich or even the establishment wing of the Republican Party be able to mount a significant challenge to deny Trump the nomination?  Could the Republican establishment try to take the nomination from him at the convention?

Detroit Today host Stephen Henderson is joined by conservative commentator Kathy Hoekstra to discuss Donald Trump and the Republican field of presidential candidates.
