DJ/mixologist PILAR COTE to appear on this weekend’s Sunday Sessions
This weekend’s Sunday Sessions (which immediately follows the Progressive Underground) will feature the sounds of artist/DJ/mixologist PILAR COTE as she presents a special mix titled “Kiss the Sky” from 11 pm – 12 midnight on 101.9 WDET and wdet.org.

Curated sounds for discerning palates… Deep House Love. Pilar Cote is an artist who always opts for glorious tracks over tape on her nipples. She creates compelling dance floor sets for music aficionados and sophisticated atmospheres for the art & fashion connoisseur.
Her programming skills and musical sensibilities craft an inspired sound with plenty of low end… she has a taste for blending musical ambiance and killer bass lines. When Pilar plays out, she loves to edit music live and in the moment as part of her creative process.
She spent years nurturing her ear while programming music for high profile fashion shows and bad-ass dance choreography. She is also a songwriter/ vocalist and producer who is based in Detroit, USA. Her DJ philosophy is to “ignite each beat with light and positivity.”
