Mild Winter: The El Nino effect might make this winter a bit milder than the two most recent ones. “We have just come through two brutal winters, and people are happy to get a reprieve,” says Gross.
Patterns: While we can prepare for El Nino, Michigan weather can still be unpredictable.“There’s a famous expression around meteorologists: Climate is what you expect, weather is what you get.” says Gross.
