Special committee considers punishment for lawmakers in alleged cover-up.

A special Michigan House committee is considering punishment for two lawmakers accused of using taxpayer resources to cover up their extramarital affair. Reps. Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat could be censured or expelled from the Legislature. Michigan Public Radio’s Rick Pluta updated WDET’s Pat Batcheller on the committee’s hearings, which have taken some of the focus in Lansing away from road funding.
