Stephen Henderson speaks with Phreddy Wischusen, Director of Communications for Ponyride, to highlight the innovative ideas and mechanics behind the Maker Faire. Ponyride allows artists and entrepreneurs to share skills, to network, and to create in an inexpensive space. It joined forces with Maker Faire, hosted by The Henry Ford, to showcase entrepreneurial advances. Maker Faire’s annual events allow a DIY mindset to “run wild.” Robotics, electronics, rockets, food, music, fashion, science are amongst the events at the Maker Faire. Here’s how The Henry Ford’s website describes it: “This eye-popping gathering is one of the country’s smartest and most extraordinary family-friendly events.”
