The Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills is hosting an exhibit that aims to explore family ties to the genocide. It’s called the Memory Project, a multimedia presentation that pairs film, the testimony of a Holocaust survivor, and painted portraits to tell a story that is both universal and deeply personal. The directors of the Memory Project are artist Roz Jacobs and filmmaker Laurie Weisman. They spoke with WDET’s Eli Newman about painting Jacobs’ uncle Kalman and his role in the production.
