Here’s what it looks to ride in a race car on the temporary Belle Isle street track used for the Detroit Grand Prix.

Here’s what it’s like to ride in a world-class racing McLaren 12C sports car on the streets of Belle Isle turned into a race track for the Detroit Grand Prix weekend.

 

And this is what it’s like inside the car at speed. Not exactly the smooth ride onboard cameras make it out to be. (video by Dawn Uhl-Zifilippo)
