Summer Road Work Goes On After Proposal 1’s Failure [Map]
MDOT says big projects will continue, but state needs long-term funding solution.
Governor Rick Snyder said the defeat of Proposal 1 would cost Michigan a construction season. But that doesn’t mean road work will stop this summer. Michigan Department of Transportation spokeswoman Diane Cross tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller that the big projects that are already funded will continue, along with temporary fixes on other roads and bridges needing major repair.
