As usual, the justices appeared pretty divided and most expect that Justice Anthony Kennedy, author of several of the court’s rulings that have expanded protections against anti-gay discrimination, will decide how this case comes out.

Rick Pluta, the Capitol Bureau Chief for the Michigan Public Radio Network, and Detroit Free Press Columnist Brian Dickerson have been covering the court proceedings in that nation’s capital. They join Stephen Henderson to talk about the arguments before the highest court.
