A TORNADO WARNING is in effect until 7:45 pm for Washtenaw County.
At 7:06 pm, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Manchester, moving east at 40 mph.
Flying debris could be dangerous to those caught without shelter.
This dangerous storm will be near Ann Arbor around 7:30 pm — near Ypsilanti and Dixboro around 7:35 — and around Salem about 7:40 pm.
Take cover now! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, get to a sturdy shelter.
