Thousands of Metro Detroiters will head downtown today for Opening Day at Comerica Park. But motorists driving along Woodward will not only have to contend with traffic from fellow Tigers’ fans, they’ll have to deal with a number of construction projects–including bridge work over I-75 and the laying of rails for the M-1 light rail project.

Sommer Woods is the Director of External Relations for the M-1 Rail Project. She tells WDET’s J. Carlisle Larsen that workers will take measures to alleviate game day traffic problems.
