The documentary called 180 Days: Hartsville focuses on two rural elementary schools in Hartsville, South Carolina, a crime-ridden county where many residents hover near the poverty line and the annual median income is $30,000. Despite the odds and being situated in a state ranked 45th in education, Hartsville has achieved an astonishing 92% graduation rate. This film shows how such a quick turnaround was achieved.
