Detroit Public Radio 101.9 WDET presents the 2024 Sounds Like Detroit showcase, featuring the top five, listener-voted Tiny Desk Contest participants!
Join us on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at New Center Park for a musical showcase of Detroit Tiny Desk Contest talent hosted by WDET’s MI Local host Jeff Milo!
The Sounds Like Detroit Showcase will feature five listener-chosen acts during our online voting:
Gates open at 6 p.m. and music starts promptly at 7 p.m.
Food trucks and beverages will be on-site.
This is a BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR OR BLANKET-style event. Seating is not guaranteed.
The show is located at New Center Park, 2998 W Grand Blvd in Detroit. Street parking is available.
