Join WDET on Wednesday, September 27 at the historic Detroit Film Theatre inside the Detroit Institute of Arts for a special screening of Searching for Sugar Man in honor of the late Sixto Rodriguez, who passed away at the age of 81 on August 8th. The Oscar-winning documentary film follows two South Africans’ pursuit to find their musical hero — beloved Detroiter Sixto Rodriguez. He was a musician, songwriter, singer, lifelong Detroiter and friend to WDET.

Show begins promptly at 7PM.

The Detroit Film Theatre is located at the John R entrance of the DIA.
