DSO Adds Marjorie Fisher’s Name to Music Center

Marjorie Fisher has been DSO’s leading advocate since Max Fisher died 10 years ago.

The Max M. Fisher Music Center in midtown Detroit is now the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center. Members of the Fisher family will join Detroit Symphony Orchestra executives to unveil new signs on the building Thursday night. DSO Executive Vice President Paul Hogle tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller Marjorie Fisher has been the orchestra’s leading advocate since her husband died in 2005.
