Every Friday this year, Detroit Today with Stephen Henderson has been having guests on the program who disagree with Stephen. It’s unofficially titled Opposite Day on Detroit Today.

It’s usually someone who sits on the other side of the political aisle than Stephen. But the show is changing it up a bit this week with the return of college football. Stephen is a University of Michigan alum who marched in the U of M marching band. He “welcomes” someone on who’s been a lifelong fan of Ohio State University [adjectives withheld].

Stephen usually tries to keep these conversations civil and respectful when discussion politics. But in this case, he makes no such promises.

“It’s a product of birth geography,” says Shea. “I’m a proud Ohio native.”
