After Angela Youngblood told her story live at the Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers in 2014, she was bombarded by audience members who couldn’t wait to share with her their own stories about their family members who suffered from mental illness. Angela was like aloe vera for them.
Angela Youngblood is a freelance writer and videographer. She’s also a co producer and director of the storytelling show, Listen to Your Mother. She blogs at Jumping with my fingers crossed, and here she recounts her experience working with Satori on her story.
