The city of Detroit is holding a business certification fair to encourage minority and women-based businesses to join the work being done ahead of the 2024 NFL draft.

Detroit will host the multi-day event April 25-27, attracting thousands of football fans from across the country.
Residents who attend Wednesday’s workshop can learn about the Detroit’s Business Opportunity Program and guidelines for how to bid for city work.
The certification fair, hosted by Detroit’s Office of Civil Rights, Inclusion & Opportunity department, takes place Sept. 6 from 3-7 p.m. inside the Northwest Activities Center at 18100 Meyers Rd. in Detroit.
