The Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix announced on Wednesday a series of concerts and festivities when it returns to downtown Detroit next month.
The IndyCar series race, which is set for June 2-4, will be held downtown for the first time since the early 1990s.
Previously the race was hosted on Belle Isle.
Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix said in a news release that concerts will take place at Hart Plaza inside the Meijer Fan Zone. Artists include Outkast rapper Big Boi and EDM veteran Steve Aoki.
Canadian DJ A-Trak will open for Big Boi on June 2 while New York native Z-Trip shares the stage with Grammy-nominated Aoki June 3.
The weekend will be filled with local artists, DJs and other musicians. A full schedule of events will be released closer to the start of the event.
The Detroit Grand Prix is just a week after the electronic music festival Movement Detroit takes over the same space at Hart Plaza.
