The Detroit Tigers host the Kansas City Royals Friday at Comerica Park. Detroit entered Major League Baseball‘s All-Star break with 46 wins and 43 losses, good for second place in the American League Central Division. That puts them six-and-a-half games behind the Cleveland Indians, who beat Detroit 11 straight games before losing on July 6. WDET’s Pat Batcheller spoke with the Tigers’ radio play-by-play broadcaster, Dan Dickerson, who says Cleveland’s dominance against Detroit is hard to explain.
