Second annual Woodbridge Porch Concerts highlights the neighborhood’s rich history
The free event featured performances from local musicians, a signature beer and fundraising for lower-income homeowners.
This weekend marked the second annual Woodbridge Porch Concerts.
The free event showcased musicians from the neighborhood, aiming to highlight the historic charm of the neighborhood known for its covered porches and homes dating back to the 1880s.
Following the porch concerts, the Woodbridge Pub hosted a Woodbridge Co-Hop Beer Tapping event featuring their unique Woodbridge Ale and a jazz performance by Detroit artist Sky Covington.
Proceeds from the event supported lower-income homeowners in the neighborhood. There were opportunities for participants to support the neighborhood’s minor home repair program with donations throughout the event.
