Here’s where you can celebrate Eid al-Fitr around Metro Detroit

From a car cruise to carnivals, local events welcome residents of all faiths to celebrate Ei al-Fitr, the three-day holiday marking the end of Ramadan, Islam’s holy month of fasting.

Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan. It’s a feast where people eat, gather and pray with family, friends or community. There are nearly 85 mosques in Michigan. Many of them are having Eid prayers at the mosques, followed by activities for families. Here are a few across Metro Detroit.
