This week on Alternate Take, I take a cue from this week’s NFL Draft and feature a tribute to Detroit music.

I run the spectrum of sounds with Motor City favorites, including music from Aretha Franklin, Motown and classic Detroit techno. Plus, some surprises from the city’s space-rock, R&B, jazz and rock scenes.
