Listen to Ann Delisi celebrate 15 years of ‘Essential Music’ on WDET

Listen to Ann Delisi feature some of her favorite songs and memories from “Essential Music” throughout the years.

Ann Delisi

This past weekend I celebrated my 15th anniversary as the host of Ann Delisi’s Essential Music on 101.9 WDET.

I thought about it very little — to be honest with you — until this past week. I realized that trying to look back on all 15 years was going to be pretty tough. I know how hard it is to fit a whole lot into a little time.

But I’m playing some of my favorite songs during these two milestone episodes, and then talk along the way about some of the things that I was able to do in the last 15 years. It took a lot of people to do it, but at the core of all of it is you who listen and support the station — and share what you love and give me constructive criticism and all the rest.

It’s been an absolutely lovely journey.
