Wayne Kramer

Wayne Kramer

This week on The Detroit Move, I celebrate Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday with a spotlight on some important and influential New Orleans artists of the 1950s and ’60s, including Fats Domino, Irma Thomas and Ernie K. Doe.

The party continues in the second half of the show as we celebrate WDET’s 75th Anniversary — showcasing all Detroit and Michigan artists, including a tribute to the late MC5 founder, Wayne Kramer.
