Shadow Show

A blast from the past with a contemporary feel, the Detroit trio Shadow Show have become one of the defining groups of the city’s sound today.

With inspirations pulled from the MC5, the Stooges and even the psychedelic-rock group the Frost, Shadow Show find their best groove yet with their new record Fantasy Now.

The band — consisting of guitarist and vocalist Ava East, drummer Kerrigan Pearce and bassist Kate Derringer — stopped by WDET’s In The Groove to perform a handful of songs from Fantasy Now for the first time on public radio.
