101.9 WDET and NPR are looking for unsigned musical artists in Detroit to enter the 2023 Tiny Desk Contest.
Are you in a local band hoping for your big break? This could be the opportunity you’ve been dreaming of. Previous Tiny Desk Contest winners have gone on to perform at Coachella, win Grammy awards and more!
The 2023 Tiny Desk Contest winner will perform their own Tiny Desk concert at NPR in Washington, D.C., be featured on NPR’s All Things Considered, and headline this year’s Tiny Desk Contest on the Road Tour.
Enter the 2023 Tiny Desk Contest in just three steps:
- Record a video of yourself performing an original song at a desk (any desk)
- Upload the video to YouTube
- Follow the submission instructions at tinydeskcontest.npr.org by March 13, 2023 before midnight
